ANNUAL OHAAA CONFERENCE 2025

Friday, July 25th - Ashland University

Over the last few years, the world has experienced some significant changes and challenges, even in the higher ed world. These have shaped the way we advise, guide, and support our students. This conference them is, "Wings of Change: Embracing the Butterfly Effect in Academic Advising", which explores the power of small actions that can create lasting impacts, hidden or obvious! We will discuss & explore themes of advocacy, belonging, change management, mentoring, & resilience. Together, we can learn how deliberate ripples of change can continue to transform us as advisors, and advising as a whole, leading us to develop a supportive environment for all students.

Congratulations to our 2024 winner for the Best of Ohio!

Madeleine Hood was selected as the Best of Ohio with her presentation titled, "The Wedding Planner Meets an Advisor: Tips & Tricks on Intentional Programming". She received an outstanding rating of 5 out of 5 from all of the conference members who attended her session. Madeleine will be given the opportunity to be able to present at our Region V conference in Chicago early next year with a free event ticket from OHAAA.
